Discovering the countryside outside of Leogane

For Two days, I shared a tent outside of Leogane with people who lost their homes during the January 12th earthquake.Their spirits were up considering they lost everything. One woman told me " we have everything we really need , we are alive , a piece of land and our family - we'll manage." The plain of Leogane is so vast I unfortunately didn't have the time to completely explore all the places that my new friends recommended that I visit. There's a mill right after crossing the Rouyonne river where they make sugar cane syrup that I had the opportunity to photograph and the photos will be posted as soon as they are edited.
